Maintenace Instructions for Wavy/Curly Hair

Shampooing
When shampooing your hair, use a regular shampoo for wavy/curly and warm water. Be careful to wash the hair between the palms of your hands from the ends fo the hair up to the scalp. Rinse hair from the top of the head down to the ends of the hair.

Conditioning
Use a conditioner that won’t weigh down hair. Detangling products and sillicone serums are also safe to use with this live cuticle hair. Avoid tangling and breakage by using a wide-tooth comb on wet hair.

Drying
First consider reshaping waves/curls with your favorite stying products and then allowing hair to air dry. A second approach is to start by writing out the wet hair as much as possible to remove excess water in the hair. Next, towel-dry the hair as much as possible. Use a blow dryer with a strong airflow on a strong airflow on a low setting – and not just a hot one.

Heating
Avoid using heat exceeding 280 degrees Fahrenheit on the hair. Use irons sparingly.

Repairing
Consider ionic products for repairing damaged hair. Ionic products are negatively changed to control the positively changed hairs that tend to spilt, fly away or become brittle from dryness, ionic products – such as chemical treatments and special blow dryers – restore, deodorize and return beautiful hair to a healthy state.
