Generally speaking, clip in extensions are processed based on hair weaves. If you want to produce a clip in extension, you must first produce a hair weave/weft.
When you make raw hair into hair bulk, at this time, workers need to use three sewing machines connected together (which we call a triple machine) to make hair bulk into hair curtains, which consist of three layers.
If we need to make hair weaves into clip in extensions at this time, we need to cut the hair weave according to the order requirements. For example, we have a customer whose package of clip in extensions contains 5 small strips. His order sizes are 1 strip of 20cm long, 1 strip of 17cm, 1 strip of 15cm, and 2 strips of 8cm. A package of clip in extensions consists of 5 independent small clip in extensions, which are worn at different positions on the head, just meeting a consumer’s needs.
Next is the formal production of clip in extensions. Generally, we will sew a lace edge on the hair weave layer, and then we will select different coloured stainless steel clips to sew onto the lace edge. We will sew 3 clips on the 20cm clip in extension, and we will also sew 3 clips on the 17cm and 15cm strips, while we will sew 2 clips on the 8cm strips, ensuring that our clips are securely worn on the consumer’s head. This process requires skilled workers to firmly attach the clips sewn onto the lace edge to ensure they do not fall off.
The remaining process is packaging. During the packaging process, since most of our orders are OEM, we will package the clip in extensions into different packaging according to the customer’s order. Generally, we will use PVC packaging bags, which can make the products look more high-end and upscale. We will also include a spare clip in the packaging bag.
